Parent Volunteer Opportunities
Welcome to the Incarnate Word Family! This past school year, which marked the 136th anniversary of the Academy, was celebrated by tremendous events and achievements, such as Mass with Cardinal DiNardo, academic awards in Latin, science, speech and debate (to name a few), athletic accomplishments across the board and a hugely successful Spring Gala & Auction.
As we look to the upcoming school year, we are reminded that the success of the Parent Club is made possible through the strong support of IWA parents. The Parent Club is involved in all of the major events and social activities held at the school, as well as enhancing the merchandise sold through the Spirit Shop.
We're asking each family to contribute a minimum of 15 hours of service to the school throughout the school year. Each time you lend a helping hand, you assist in building our IWA Community. Help us to not only create a better school for your daughter(s) but also to set a good example for them about the importance of commitment to service. There are volunteer opportunities for everyone. Please review all the information listed below and return this form-by August 1, 2009-letting us know where you can help.
