Dads' Club

2009 is Incarnate Word Academy's inaugural year for its newly formed Dads' Club.
This club is actually a volunteer committee directed by IWA's Parent Club.
We encourage all fathers to get on board and take this opportunity to get more involved
in their daughter's high school experience. All IWA Dads are members!
The focus of this great group is to lend a helping hand where needed. See the list below of various volunteer opportunities available during the year:
• Man registration tables for IWA's Golf Classic
• Host and coordinate the Fall Spaghetti Social
• Work with drama students in set design and construction
• Volunteer at the Thanksgiving all school luncheon
• Grill hotdogs and hamburgers at the Spring Social
• Set up and serve during the Mother/Daughter Mass & Reception
• Load and transport gala auction items to venue
Social events are also organized such as IWA Dads' Night with the Astros.
Thank you so much for all of the volunteer hours that our fabulous Dads
have given so far on behalf of the school and their precious daughters!
