Thank you for considering Incarnate Word Academy. Choosing a high school is a big decision, and there are many good schools in the Houston area. It is important to find the right fit for your daughter and your family. If you are looking for a strong college preparatory curriculum, a Christian atmosphere, small class size and a tight knit community of students, then IWA can offer your daughter the best high school experience that will prepare her for college and the rest of her life.
Incarnate Word Academy has provided its students with a solid foundation in Academics, Values, and Spirituality since 1873. If fact, we are the oldest high school in Houston! IWA graduates are accepted to some of the best colleges and universities in the country. The class of 2007 was awarded over $930,000 in scholarships. They will join the alumnae who have gone before them to be women who make a difference in the world.
As you continue to gather information about area high schools, you are invited to come by for a visit, bring your daugther for a "shadow day," or attend any of our plays, sporting events, or special Masses.
