For the 2008-2009 season, our first tournament will be on September 12-13 at Elkins High School.  Please see Ms. Pankau in 306 if you want to sign up or want more information about joining the Speech and Debate team.  Also check out the Speech and Debate team link on Edline for updates.

National Forensic League District was held on April 24-26, 2008 at Westside High School.  Ten girls competed, and we got as far as the fourth out of six rounds.  The girls did a fine job representing IWA and came away with a lot of experience and NFL points.

We had an amazing season in 2007-2008.  We went to eight TFA tournaments, qualified twelve people for NFL membership, went to State in TAPPS and District in Student Congress as well as NFL District.  The girls worked very hard last year and we hope to have as wonderful a year this year.
