Incarnate Word Academy won third place overall at the Texas State Junior Classical League Area "A" Convention at J. Frank Dobie High School in February, 2008.

But IWA Latin Club is not just about winning. More importantly, it is about LEARNING:

Latin Club is also about having FUN:
· Act in a new mythology play each week.
· Attend two state conventions a year, one local, and one at another exotic Texas location.
· End the school year with a toga party.
