Enrichment Skills Program
Enrichment and Skills Programs give students the opportunity to explore new fields and prepare for future studies. Courses are designed to highlight students' strengths and to enrich their experiences. Participants in this program receive narrative evaluations but no grades or credits.

Reach for the Stars: Students Taking Action & Reaching for Success
The Society of Vincent de Paul is accepting applications for volunteers to work as Mentors & Camp Facilitators for their Summer Day Camp program. The program runs from June 2-August 29, 2008. Candidates should be at least 16 years old. Houston Chronicle Summer Workshop
The Houston Chronicle and the University of Houston sponsor a free, four-week summer workshop for high school students interested in journalism who will be seniors in the fall. High school students in Harris, Montgomery, Liberty, Chambers, Galveston, Brazoria, Fort Bend or Waller county are eligible to apply. Classes will be conducted by Houston Chronicle staff reporters, editors, photographers and graphic artists. Subjects include reporting, writing, editing, and interviewing practices and principles of photojournalism, graphics and newspaper design. Louisiana Youth Leadership Seminar
