The Leadership Live! team hosted Ms. Erica Raggett, who shared her leadership journey.

IWA welcomed Ms. Erica Raggett to speak at Leadership Live!  Ms. Raggett inspired us with her story of merging two passions into social change in the fight against human trafficking.  Most recently, her service journey led her to merge her passion for coffee shops and desire to raise awareness about human trafficking to create a social-justice centered coffee shop, "A 2nd Cup", in the Heights.

IWA Impact Dance Team won Best in Class, Outstanding Performance Quality, and Silver Sweepstakes

Congratulations to IWA's Impact Dance Team who performed beautifully at their first-ever team competition!  Last Saturday, the team competed at the Crowd Pleasers Dance Competition and were awarded Best in Class, Outstanding Performance Quality, and Silver Sweepstakes! Kennadi Barker, Emily York, and Maggie York won first place in their trio. Elizabeth Drake, Nicole Fish, Allison Tirado, and Emily York also competed with their own solos. Though nerves are inevitable, Coach Lauren Lacanlale was confident that the girls would thrive in competition: "I know they will succeed because these girls are so determined.  They want to succeed, they want to be better, they are constantly striving to be better than the day before.  And, most importantly, they are willing to put in the work."
