Please make sure to submit your application and the $75 fee by December 15, 2025. Applications will be available starting September 1, 2025. Once submitted, the checklist for supporting materials will open.

The HAIS Math and English Recommendation forms can be requested through the application portal.

Your student's teachers will receive an email with a link to the form once the request is submitted. Teachers can complete the recommendation and upload directly to the student's application. Teachers are also welcome to email their recommendation to admissions@incarnateword.org.

Submit transcripts for the previous two grade levels and the first semester of the current grade level.

Upload a PDF of your student’s sixth, seventh and first semester of eighth grade school reports directly on the application portal. Request that your student's first semester grades be sent by their current school to admissions@incarnateword.org in January. All transcripts are due by January 30, 2026. Please utilize the transcript release form below if needed.

All freshman applicants are required to submit scores from the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) with their application.

Register to take the ISEE at IWA on January 10 at 8 A.M. at iseeonline.erblearn.org. This exam can be taken online or in person at various locations. To report your ISEE score to Incarnate Word Academy, use school code 570451. This will ensure your score will be sent to IWA.

ISEE scores can only be taken once per season. Students can take it once in the Fall (August–November) and Winter (December–March). Students can submit up to two ISEE scores. Scores can also be sent directly to admissions@incarnateword.org.

We encourage students and parents to submit their application as soon as they are interested to provide our committee adequate time to review your daughter's application.

Students and families can access the Transfer application below. After completing your daughter's application, it can take up to 1–2 weeks to deliver an admissions decision.

Transfer students in grades 9–10 will be considered with the exception of students grades 9–11 who are relocating to Houston, Texas.

Step 2

Two teacher recommendations (Math and English HAIS forms) are required for admission consideration.

Print the forms below and give them to your daughter’s current Math and English teachers for completion.

Step 3

Transcripts from the previous two grades and first semester of the current grade are required.

Please print or email the records release form and submit to any relevant schools for completion.

All applicants must submit standardized test scores such as the PSAT 8/9, PSAT 10, ACT or SAT scores.

Transfer applicants who have completed the ISEE in eighth grade may submit their test scores for consideration. 

International Transfer Applicants are welcome to submit TOEFL scores.

Step 5

All transfer students are required to interview.

Once the application and all supporting documents are received by the Admissions Office, you will be contacted to set up an interview time.
