OUR ARTS PROGRAM
Whether students are interested in mastering musical sight reading, pirouettes, embroidery, or theater props, IWA offers a wide array of artistic outlets.
IWA supports a school choir, a dance team, vocal and instrumental lessons, visual arts classes, and theater productions put on by our very own technical crew.
Our fifth-floor rehearsal space inspires our dance team and choir members with its sweeping view of downtown Houston, and our W.T and Louise J. Moran Performing Arts Center hosts our fall play and spring musical (with sets created by our Tech Crew), as well as numerous performances from our award-winning IWA Choir and others. Situated just a short walk away from Houston's thriving arts district, students gain a appreciation for the arts by attending professional productions each year.
