Gala & Auction

Please join us on Friday, April 14, 2023, at The Post Oak Hotel as we celebrate Incarnate Word Academy’s Gala & Auction, An Evening of Heart and Spirit, marking the beginning of our year-long 150th Anniversary celebration. The honorees for the evening, appropriately, are the Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament, the founders of the Academy, who will also be celebrating their 150-year anniversary as a Congregation.

There will be a heartfelt tribute to the Sisters whose bold educational vision began in Houston in 1873, educating thousands of students within the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston as well as the Dioceses of Austin and Beaumont, Texas from preschool through college over the past 15 decades. Additionally, they have ministered on the diocesan and parish levels in positions such as Religious Education, Chaplaincy, Ministry to the Aging, and Pastoral Ministry.

Incarnate Word Academy is the Sisters’ pride and joy. They would love nothing better than for you to support the Academy’s mission by being a table sponsor at one of the listed table levels or contribute as an Underwriter. There are many other ways to participate whether it be by donating to our annual Wine & Spirits Pull or Silent and Live Auctions.  Refer to weekly eblasts for all the details.

Sponsorship and Underwriter opportunities are outlined below.  Table sponsors and Underwriters whose gifts are either pledged or paid by March 1, 2023, will be listed on the invitation as a member of the host committee and on the gala program.
