The Mothers' Club is a vibrant volunteer group, assisting in over twenty events throughout the year including the beloved Thanksgiving Luncheon, our annual fundraiser Auction & Gala, and Teacher Appreciation Week.
This organization has a rich history of collaborating with school administrators to facilitate many of the social and cultural activities that make Incarnate Word Academy special and impact the overall success of the school. All parents are encouraged to volunteer to support IWA–take a moment to explore volunteer opportunities below!
The IWA BeYOUtiful Style Show will be held at The Junior League of Houston on Sunday, February 17th at 1:30 p.m. Families and friends are invited to attend and watch our young ladies (and special faculty models) grace the runway during this beloved annual event.
Tickets are $60 each and includes a light lunch served after the runway portion of the show. Please note that Style Show tickets must be purchased in advance and will NOT be sold at the door.
All parents and guardians of students are automatically members of the Mother’s Club (including the Dads!). I encourage all of you to get involved with our activities. Volunteering is a great way to meet other parents, make friends, and get to know the faculty and staff. We have many different volunteer opportunities available throughout the school year so everyone can be involved.
Mary Ann Cromwell, Mothers Club President
The purpose of the Mother’s Club is to support the programs and activities here at IWA. This is done by coordinating parental support through volunteer activities, social functions, and fundraisers. There are approximately 20 events throughout the year that we help with or provide volunteer support for. We primarily raise funds through our spirit shop sales and those proceeds are used to help host our many events.
